Marfrig Europe has been based at Preston Lodge Court since August 2006. Throughout that time we have enjoyed a very professional relationship with the Mackaness family at Preston Lodge Farm, and appreciate their responsiveness with which they have addressed our needs. The location is a perfect fit in terms of our interests in livestock and our staff really enjoy coming to work in these amazing surroundings. The nearby villages of Hackleton and Great Houghton have all the amenities for our staff. The rural location is indeed a tranquil one, free of the hassles of town and yet with Northampton and the M1 motorway very close to hand.
I founded my business, Medigold, now a national Occupational Health Consultancy at Preston Lodge Farm and grew it successfully over 10 or so years until we had no more space! It was a wonderful home for our staff and our clients were really impressed that we had such professional facilities on a rural farm site. The owners always went out of their way to help us and also to accommodate our needs and requirements and it is fair to say we had a very happy time there. Today our business is a nationwide enterprise employing more than 80 staff in several locations. We found this to be a beautiful countryside setting but with all the convenience of being 10 minutes from the M1, 10 minutes from; banks, goods shops, post office, DHL facilities etc. The site is well managed with a very conscientious and responsive managing agent. It has beautiful and well kept grounds which are regularly updated and improved, and are nicely lit throughout the year.
